COMPASSION FOR INDIA
NFC raised $4,296.00 for Covid relief to India; the birthplace of India. $3,330.00 was donated to the Sood Charity Foundation. $966.00 was donated to The Bal Pushpa Home.

VIRTUAL YOGATHON
A 2 hour Virtual Yogathon that raised $4000 for those who were impacted by the Creek Fire. It was led by local yoga teachers, Nayantara Rodrigues, Donald Turnmire, Amanda Stetler, and Crystal Uyeno.

NFC FUNDRAISER- CULTIVATING COMMUNITY
Namaste For Compassion held our “Cultivating Community” fundraiser on Saturday, March 30, 2019. There was a 90 minute yoga and meditation class led by various yoga studios/instructors in Fresno and Clovis. The event was held at CRU Winery and raised $4250. This fundraiser directly benefited NFC, enabling us to acquire supplies required to provide free yoga throughout the community, such as mats and blocks.

FACE AFRICA
Namaste For Compassion partners with Face Africa to build a well in honor of Gavin Gladding, raising $5,000. Gavin Gladding was a school administrator in our city, who spent time serving in the Peace Corps in Gambia, West Africa. He often spoke fondly of his experiences in Gambia. He was a friend, an upstanding community member, and compassionate soul.

BAL PUSHPA HOME
$10,000 for Bal Pushpa Home (BPH)
Our very first fundraising effort began with our relationship with BPH. Sister Dharma was a nun for fifty years who bought a home in Mumbai when she retired ten years ago. Sister Dharma’s home is a safe space for children who would otherwise have to fend for themselves. NFC holds a fund raiser for Bal Pushpa Home annually.

$500 for Together Rising
Together Rising is an organization that gives 100% of funds raised directly to an individual, family, or cause. The funds NFC raised provided legal representation for children separated from their families at the border.
